ADVISORY: BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related System Integration Activities

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 8 AM to 6 PM*, we will conduct the second batch of system integration activities related to the merger of Robinsons Bank with BPI.

During this period, all BPI and Robinsons Bank channels and services will be temporarily unavailable, including ATMs, fund transfers, and May BPI Dito partner store transactions. All BPI and Robinsons Bank branches with Saturday banking schedule will also be closed.

You may continue using your BPI and Robinsons Bank Credit Cards as these will remain available. Additionally, VYBE will be accessible to pay bills, buy load, and redeem rewards.

Please plan your transactions accordingly.

*System integration activity for BizLink will start at 12 AM on October 4, while e2BANKING, RBiz, and Robinsons Bank Debit Cards will be unavailable starting 10 PM of October 3.   

  1. When will the BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities take place and which BPI and Robinsons Bank channels and services will be unavailable during the activities? 

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 8 AM to 6 PM*, we will conduct the second batch of system integration activities related to the merger of Robinsons Bank with BPI. ​

During this period, the following will be temporarily unavailable:​

  • BPI channels​
    • ATMs and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs)​
    • BPI online and the BPI app​
    • VYBE (add money, cash out, pay via QR, cardless withdrawal, send to bank, sign-up)
    • BPI BizKo​
    • BPI BizLink​
  • BPI services using BPI online credentials in partner websites and apps​
  • Robinsons Bank channels​
    • RBank ATMs​
    • RBank online banking and RBank Digital app ​
    • RBank Corporate Banking​
    • RBank e2BANKING and RBiz
  • BPI and Robinsons Bank Debit Cards​
  • Interbank funds transfer via InstaPay and PESONet​
  • Agency Banking (May BPI Dito Partner store transactions: deposit and withdrawal on partner portal, deposit account opening and other product applications, BPI Lazada product applications, PayWage BPI Salary On-Demand)

All BPI and Robinsons Bank branches with Saturday banking schedule will be also closed on October 4.

You may continue using your BPI and Robinsons Bank Credit Cards as these will remain available. Additionally, VYBE will be accessible to pay bills, buy load, and redeem rewards.   ​ ​

  1. Who will be affected by the system integration activities?
  • BPI customers who plan to use BPI ATMs and CAMs, BPI online and the BPI app, BPI online credentials in partner apps and websites, and interbank funds transfer (InstaPay and PESONet), BPI Debit Cards, BPI BizKo, BPI BizLink, VYBE app, and transact with May BPI Dito partner stores, BPI Lazada store, and PayWage Salary On-Demand.
  • Robinsons Bank customers who plan to use Robinsons Bank ATMs, RBank online banking, RBank Digital app, RBank Corporate Banking, Robinsons Bank Debit Cards, RBank e2BANKING, and RBiz

3.Which BPI and Robinsons Card services will be available?

  • BPI Credit Cards will be available for in-store and online purchases, and cash advance via non-BPI ATMs subject to cash advance fee and other applicable fees.
  • Robinsons Bank Credit Cards will be available for in-store and online purchases
  1. Will the branches be open to assist me?
  • In relation to the system integration activities, all BPI and Robinsons Bank branches with Saturday banking schedule will be closed on October 4, 2025. We encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your branch visits and transactions before the system integration activities.   1. I have bills to pay on that date. When and how should I pay them?
  • We encourage you to pay your bills ahead of the second batch of BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities to avoid possible penalties and charges.

You may also use your BPI and Robinsons Bank Credit Cards, as these will remain available. Additionally, VYBE will be accessible for bill payments during system integration activities.

  1. I have scheduled payments through BPI Auto Debit Arrangement (ADA) on that date. Will the system integration activities affect my BPI ADA transactions?
  • Your scheduled BPI ADA transactions that fall within the duration of the system integration activities will be processed on the next banking day, which is on Monday, October 6, 2025.
  1. Can I buy prepaid load via the VYBE app during the system integration activities?
  • Yes, you can buy prepaid load through the VYBE app as it will remain available during the system integration activities. To load, simply log in to your VYBE app, tap VYBE eWallet, then choose Buy Load.
  1. Can I withdraw using my BPI or Robinsons Bank Debit Card from BPI, Robinsons Bank, and non-BPI or non-Robinsons Bank ATMs during the system integration activities?
  • Kindly plan ahead and make your cash withdrawals at any time before 8 AM or after 6 PM* on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

* Robinsons Bank Debit Cards will be unavailable starting 10 PM of October 3 for accounts included in the second tranche of the system integration activities.

  1. Can I do international withdrawals?
  • All BPI and Robinsons Bank Debit Card services, including international withdrawals, will be unavailable during the system integration activities. You may use your BPI Credit Card for international cash advances, subject to applicable fees.
  1. If I need money, in cases of emergency, what are my options?
  • To avoid any inconvenience, please withdraw cash from your BPI or Robinsons Bank Debit Card account and complete your in-store and online transactions before the system integration activities scheduled on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 8 AM to 6 PM*.

Alternatively, you may

  • use your BPI Credit Card for:
  • In-store and online purchases
  • Cash advance at any non-BPI ATMs
  • use your Robinsons Bank Credit Card for:
  • In-store and online purchases

We encourage you to plan accordingly and do your urgent transactions (BPI CAM deposits, ATM withdrawals, BPI app, BPI online, RBank Digital app, RBank Online Banking transactions) before the second batch of BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities.

*Robinsons Bank Debit Cards will be unavailable starting 10 PM of October 3.

  1. I have a non-BPI / non-Robinsons Bank card (local or foreign), can I still use BPI or Robinsons Bank ATMs?
  • We recommend that you do your transactions prior to or after the system integration activities. Your card issuer may charge fees on top of BPI or Robinsons Bank fees to process your transaction.
  1. I have post-dated checks scheduled on that date. Will the system integration activities have an effect on my post-dated checks?
  • Since the second batch of BPI-Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 when there is no clearing of checks, your post-dated checks will not be affected. However, please ensure that your checking accounts are sufficiently funded.
  1. What would be the effect of the system integration activities on our scheduled transactions in BPI BizLink?
  • From 12 AM to 6 PM on October 4, 2025, BPI BizLink facilities will not be accessible and transactions will not be processed.
  • Transactions uploaded and approved prior to the system integration activities but scheduled for crediting or debiting during system integration period, with the exception of payroll batch, will not push through. If such a transaction has been scheduled, please cancel and re-upload the transaction and schedule the crediting or debiting at an earlier date and time.
  • For those with payroll planned during the system integration period, kindly reschedule your payroll transactions before October 4 to give your employees enough time to withdraw cash or complete their financial transactions before the start of the downtime.  ​
  • For those with disbursement transactions (e.g., government payments, supplier payments, check cutting, etc.), kindly complete these transactions before October 4 to avoid any delay and possible penalty charges. ​
  • For those with auto-debit arrangements, kindly schedule the debiting of accounts before or after the downtime and to inform your payors
  1. When can I see my updated transaction history and/or statement of account?
  • Your transaction history will be updated right after the completion of the second batch of BPI – Robinsons Bank merger-related system integration activities.
