Credit Card Payment Extended Grace Period

Robinsons Bank, in compliance of the “Bayanihan To Heal as One Act” and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR), the Bank is re-issuing its FAQ on the expansion of the grace period for clients with Robinsons Bank Credit Cards who are in good credit standing:

FAQs

Q:      Am I qualified for the program?

A:      You are qualified if your Robinsons Bank Credit Card due date is from March 16 to May 31, 2020. An SMS Advisory will be sent to all qualified customers.

Q:      Does the grace period apply to loans extended by Banks abroad to Filipino residents?

A:      No. The extended Grace Period applies to loans extended by the Banks established in the Philippines.

Q:      Does the Grace Period apply to loan accounts whether current or past due?

A:      Yes, the Grace Period covers all accounts regardless of whether these are current or past due.

Q:      What will be my Minimum Amount Due after the Grace Period?  Will it double/triple?

A:      Your minimum amount due next month shall be computed accordingly, which is 5% of your total amount due. No, it will not be doubled/tripled.

Q:      I normally pay in full. Will I incur interest and fees during the Grace Period?

A:      No, you will not incur any interest and fees during the Grace Period as long as you pay your total outstanding balance on or before your new due date. In case you were charged, reversals shall be posted on your next statement of account.

Q:      I normally pay partial. Will I incur interest and fees during the Grace Period?

A:      Under the IRR, interest will continue to be accrued for your account and this will be payable in your next due date. But, you will not incur any other fees and charges. We will reverse / waive your late payment fee and interest on your Minimum Amount Due, as applicable.

Q:      My account is enrolled in Auto-Debit Arrangement (ADA), am I covered by the grace period?

A:      Yes, your credit card account enrolled in ADA is covered by the grace period as long your due date is anywhere from March 16 to May 31, 2020. You may call our Customer Care Center (C3) at (02) 8673-2273 or email at C3@robinsonsbank.com.ph if you wish to proceed with your Auto-Debit Arrangement (ADA).

Q:      Will this apply to Luzon-based customers or nationwide?

A:      We are offering this assistance nationwide.

Q:      If I wish to continue paying, how do I make a payment?

A:      You may still pay via RBank Digital (Online Banking), Bancnet Online, BDO Online, or GCash app.
